SANDAL SCARECROW FESTIVAL

Sandal Community Association has put on a scarecrow festival every other year since 2016, even putting on special ones during the pandemic years.

This year, 2022 is Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth all’s Platinum Jubilee, so it is entirely appropriate that this will be a special Platinum Scarecrow Festival.

Garriett Swainson is the organiser and she and her working group will be supplying details over the next few weeks.

KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON celebrating the Platinum Jubilee with the Sandal Scarecrow BEST OF BRITISH Festival THIS weekend, June 11th and 12th!

The route will be announced later in the week but all activities will this year be taking place at WEST YORKSHIRE SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB.

Here are just a few things you can expect, all FREE OF CHARGE:

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

Bouncy Castle Fun from Fun Factor Leeds; Balloon Modelling from Phil; Live music from @lindseyfarrow; Jubilee and Scarecrow Crafts from the Sandal Community Association, Wakefield, West Yorkshire

SATURDAY:

1:30pm - 2:30pm Dancing entertainment and the opportunity to join in from Studio A Theatre Arts

SUNDAY:

1:15pm - 2:15pm Live performance from @KarlJohnsonFreddieMercury
